We have an immediate opening for a TECHNICAL ASSISTANT on one of our transportation teams.
Technical Assistants/Customer Service Representative - Organized individual to assist Broker/Underwriters in the production of new business, retention of existing accounts, prompt and efficient service of client requests. These individuals also provide guidance and direction to processors and fully recognize the importance of quality customer service. Minimum educational requirements are high school, with college preferred. This position requires two plus years of insurance specific experience, either in a retail agency or company environment.
The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, computer literate, a team player that internalizes our goals of continuous improvement and superior customer service. Good organizational and communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential. Insurance experience working with transportation accounts; i.e. motor truck cargo, commercial automobile liability and physical damage coverage for truckers, from the prospective of a retail agent, insurance company technician or surplus lines brokerage is desired but not required. Experience in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Word is required.
