The recent publicized allegations have raised awareness and triggered more actions, which will likely increase the number of cases reported over the short term.  In the long term, organizations should be putting more emphasis on risk management and prevention.  Although most EPL policies currently contain some type of risk management services, but wouldn't you rather be certain it does?
