Anthony A. Kubera, CICTony Kubera

Tony Kubera joined Russell Bond in May 2004 as Director Business Development.

His tactical and strategic goals are to: analyze and strengthen producer relationships; through understanding the retail Broker’s needs and aligning them with Russell Bond’s capabilities.

After graduating from Canisius College with a Bachelor of Arts degree he began his insurance career. Prior to joining Russell Bond he worked for the Aetna C&S and Hartford. During his tenure with these companies he served in various capacities including Property and Casualty Underwriter, Home Office Coordinator of Operations Review Teams and Director of General Liability Automation, Western New York Branch Executive Marketing Representative, Marketing Consultant and Select Customer Sales Representative.

Tony is an active Director on the Board of Directors for the PIA of New York.  He was statewide president in 2014-2015.  He also serves on President’s Advisory Council of the Insurance Club of Buffalo where he was also a past President. He previously served as President of Western New York Insurance Marketing Association.  Recently he was recognized as Agent of the Month by Great American Insurance Group, and in March 2016 received the Distinguished Service Award from the Insurance Women of Buffalo.

His community activity includes the Board of Trustees for Mount Mercy Academy and for Our Lady of Victory Homes of Charity.  Previously he was a member of the Canisius College Insurance Advisory Council for Education and has been a speaker for Buffalo Public schools at Career Day for Primary and High School students, member of the Hamburg Village Recreation Commission, a coach of youth baseball, soccer and basketball and
a past President of the Saints Peter & Paul Parents Association and the Parish Council.
