Anthony A. Kubera, CIC

Tony Kubera, joined Russell Bond in May 2004 as Director Business Development. 

His tactical and strategic goals are to: analyze and strengthen producer management; focus and direct flows of business; generate flow from new producers; products and territories; help execute superior service models and maintain strong producer relationships.  Having begun his insurance career in 1973, Tony brings with him over 30 years of experience in underwriting, management and marketing.

Tony has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Canisius College and began his career as a Casualty Underwriter with the Aetna C&S in July of 1973.  In 1977, he moved to The Hartford where he served for 27+ years in various capacities including: Property Underwriter, Home Office Coordinator of Operations Review Teams and Director of General Liability Automation, Western New York Branch Executive Marketing Representative, Marketing Consultant and most recently, Select Customer Sales Representative.

Tony currently serves on the Board of Directors for the PIA of New York and the President’s Advisory Council of the Insurance Club of Buffalo. He previously served as President of both the Insurance Club of Buffalo and Western New York Marketing Association; as member of the Canisius College Insurance Advisory Council for Education and has been a speaker for Buffalo Public schools at Career Day for Primary and High School students.  His other community activities include being a 16 year member of the Hamburg Village Recreation Commission, a coach of youth baseball, soccer and basketball and a past president of the Saints Peter & Paul Parents Association and the Parish Council.
