These could be the headlines ripped from any daily newspaper.  What were once thought to be isolated incidents are now becoming all to common.  How does a business recover from such an event?  A Cyber & Terror Response policy provides coverage for the perils and threats that can impact a business' physical locations, operations and employees.  It also assists a business to restore operations after a covered event.  Service highlights include post-event crisis counseling, medical care, public relations, security analysis and advisory services.

This unique product is intended to complete coverage provided by Property & Casualty policies by filling in critical coverage gaps relating to cyber-attacks and security related event in traditional general liability, workers compensation and property policies.

Coverage Highlights

  • Cyber Security Expense & Liability
         a. Third party liability claims stemming from a security failure on the part of the insured
         b. Privacy Crisis response expenses in the event of a data breach (expenses covered include
             notifications, credit monitoring and forensics
         c. Costs to respond to a cyber extortion threat
  • Political Violence and Terrorism
         a. Provides coverage for 1st party Property Damage (PD), Business Interruption (BI) losses,
             Contingent Business Income (CBI) and 3rd party liability losses resulting from an act or hoax of
             politically-inspired violence (strikes, riots, civil commotion, sabotage) and terrorism
  • Workplace Violence expense
         a. Reimburses expenses resulting from any workplace violence incident involving an insured person.
         b. Reimbursed expenses include (but are not limited to) Workplace Violence and Stalking Threat
             Expenses (to include Security Consultants / Guards, Public Relations Consultant, Counseling
             Seminars, Salaries, Medical Benefits, etc.) Business Interruption Loss, Temporary Business
             Relocation, Loss of Life Benefit and Defense Costs.
  • Crisis Response Expenses
         a. Reimburses Crisis Response costs and / or Crisis Management costs that are a result of Bodily
             Injury, Property Damage or Imminent Injury arising out of a crisis event
         b. Reimbursed Crisis Response and Management costs include (but are not limited to) Crisis
             Transportation Expenses, Crisis Psychological Expenses, Funeral Expenses, Expenses incurred to
             secure the scene of a crisis event and Threat Expenses
Policy Aggregate limits of up to $25,000,000 are available.  Sub-limits will be applied to various sections and / or elements of loss depending on the Policy Aggregate limit and the characteristics of the risk.
 
You may be able to endorse this coverage to another policy for little cost,
but will the claim be covered???
